Recently, i saw this Celeteque Toner in Watsons and Yes it’s on 50% off so i told myself that this is the perfect time to try some Toner from this brand! Celeteque is well known for it’s products especially their facial wash that’s friendly to Acne proned and sensitive skin type. So when i saw this at Watsons counter i taught it’s interesting to try their Toner as well! So let me share my thoughts to you if this is worth buying or not 💋
Product Claims:
Contains Aloe Vera and chamomile extracts which help soothe the skin. Reconditions the skin to prepare it for moisturizing.
Ingredients
Water; Ethyl Alcohol; Glycerin; Panthenol; Aloe Vera Extract; Allantoin; Chamomile Extract; Sodium PCA; Witch Hazel Extract; Citric Acid; Sodium Citrate.
The Pros:
It has a consistency like Micellar water.
It has Aloe Vera and Chamomile extract that helps soothes the skin. Plus, it also contains Witch Hazel extract that helps our skin fight Oil and Acne problems and since i used this for almost a week now i notice a little difference on my skin when it comes to oil production it lessens the oil production of my skin but not that much.
It’s fragrance-free and Non-Comedogenic. It means it’s safe for those who have sensitive skin and it doesn’t Clog pores as well!
Plus, I bought it at 50% off. Seriously who doesn’t like discounts and savings? 😂
The Cons
It has an alcohol content so if you’re skin is sensitive to Alcohol then maybe this isn’t for you. And because it has an alcohol content it stings when i apply it on the side of my nose because my skin is sensitive on that part.
The Packaging :
Simple and Direct to the Point on what it can do for your skin and the ingredients are listed as well. The container itself is just a simple flip top see through bottle with detailed information about the product and it’s contents. I’m the type of person who spends time reading product claims, usage and reviews because i’m in a continuous search of affordable yet effective products for my Oily skin so that’s great.
The Price:
I bought it at 50% off in Watsons. For only 69 Pesos. The original price of this is 129 Pesos Imagine the savings i had with this product! I really love to hoard some beauty products at Watsons because they always have some products on sale at their counters that i couldn’t resist Haha 😂.
The Verdict:
I love it. It’s simple yet it works well on my skin. The only thing that i didn’t like about this is it has an alcohol content and it stings the side of my nose. So if you’re skin is a little bit sensitive to alcohol i will not recommend this to you.
It’s consistency is like a Micellar water with added benefits. When it comes to Oil control upon usage of this i notice that my T-zone area is less Oily unlike before.
